1786 - Prince William Henry, Duke of Clarence (later King William IV). Arrived on the frigate, Pegasus.

1787 - Prince William Henry, Duke of Clarence (later King William IV) - June 26th - 1 week.

1788 - Prince William Henry, Duke of Clarence (later King William IV) - August

1789 - Prince William Henry, Duke of Clarence (later King William IV) - November

1791-1800 - Prince Edward, Duke of Kent (father of Queen Victoria) has an extended stay in Nova Scotia.

1860 - Prince Edward, Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII) - 30 July to 06 August. Halifax, Windsor, Truro, Pictou.

1861 - Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh (son of Queen Victoria) - 22 May to 24 May. Halifax. Arrived on H.M.S. St. George on which he was serving as a midshipman. As May 24th was the Queen's official birthday, a parade was held and he reviewed the troops.

1869 - Prince Arthur (later Duke of Connaught, son of Queen Victoria) - 22 August, 01 September. Halifax.

1878 - Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh (son of Queen Victoria) - 21 Nov. Halifax.

1878 - Princess Louise (daughter of Queen Victoria) & John Campbell, Marquis of Lorne and Prince Alfred. The Marquis of Lorne was installed as Governor  General of Canada at Halifax - 25 November to 27 November

1880 - Princess Louise and Marquis of Lorne at Halifax, Jan 26.

1882 - The Marquis of Lorne, Governor General of Canada, Jan 21.

1883 - Prince George of Wales (later King George V), Halifax. May 15th and August 1st. On August 13th, Prince George attended a concert in his honour in the Public Gardens accompanied by Admiral Sir J.E. Commeral and Capt. Darrant. 

1884 - Prince George of Wales visits Kentville, N.S.?

1890 -  Prince George of Wales (later King George V) as an officer in the Royal Navy, Halifax. August 1st and 24th. Prince George attended a supper party at Maplewood hosted by Sir John Ross on the banks of the Northwest Arm. The Prince and some officers also held a small dance at the dock yard and Sir John Ross also held a large ball at Bellevue in honor of the Prince.
